Looking for a heading? PNI Corp's Vector 2Xe 2-axis compass is a beautiful solution to your compass woes. This small module incorporates PNI's patented low-field magnetic sensors combined with an oscillator ASIC and an all too familiar MSP430F149. What this means to you is a simple, SPI interface to compass headings. The V2Xe has incredible stability, resolution, and accuracy compared to the competition - right out of the box!

Features:

  • 2mA @ 3.3V DC
  • High resolution compass heading : 0.01 degrees
  • High accuracy compass heading : 1 degree (typical)
  • Non-volatile calibration storage
  • Multiple modes : compass or magnetic field
  • High resolution field measurement as low as 0.015uT
  • SPI interface - no additional circuitry needed
